The day I brought the litter for swimming lessons, Blondie leaped in after a bumper and swam like a fish! When it comes to scoring a retrieve, Blondie is all about courage and determination. Blondie’s owners could no longer keep her so I took her back to find her a home. As it turns out, I like her so much that her home is now with True Grit Golden Retrievers. Blondie’s retraining requires “out of the box” techniques and I’m keeping a blog of her progress.

What can I say about a dog who has done everything for me, in unconventional ways. The show dog who is Qualified All Age. The field dog who is a Best in Specialty winning Grand Champion (at 60 lbs). Most of all, a big piece of my heart who knows what I'm thinking and never fails to give me that look when I ask him to do something ridiculous.
