About the Breeder
Ganetta Savoy has been teaching dog obedience to the public, training, and competing with dogs since 1982. Dogs are my life passion. Ganetta discovered the wonder and love of Golden Retrievers with the purchase of Speaks from HighRoller Golden Retrievers in 2008. Speaks and I eared our UD together and he was truly a joy. Loving Speaks sparked a passion for the Golden Retriever breed. It is extremely important, when choosing a Breeder to purchase a puppy from, that the Breeder is very involved with the breed. As a responsible Golden Retriever breeder, my involvement is paramount to my contribution to and support of the breed. I have club affiliations with and support my local clubs, I adhere to the Breeder Code of Ethics, my training involvement, and my knowledge of the breed is ever-growing through the direct mentoring of more experienced trainers, breeders, and fellow club members. Throughout the pages on this website, you will be informed about my involvement in, employment, breeding, training, and competing with the Golden Retriever breed for the past 15 years.

At True Grit Golden Retrievers, we live with, love, and train our dogs at least 3 years before they join our breeding program. If a dog does not become a healthy, mentally sound, and good-looking Golden Retriever, he remains our cherished pet; however, he wi

At True Grit Golden Retrievers, we live with, love, and train our dogs at least 3 years before they join our breeding program. If a dog does not become a healthy, mentally sound, and good-looking Golden Retriever, he remains our cherished pet; however, he will not become a part of our breeding program. We carefully screen all dogs for orthopedic and genetic diseases common to Golden Retrievers. We understand that Golden Retrievers are more than just animals – they become part of the family. That's why we carefully screen every potential program prospect carefully over a 3 year period. We would expect nothing less from our breeder.
